Population First announces the 2nd edition of the Laadli Media Awards for Gender Sensitivity 2009-10, supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The Western and Southern regional awards were held in December 2009- on 9th and 17th respectively. Close to 40 awards have already been given out in these two regions. We are enthused by the response to our Call for Entries, and now look forward to the Northern and Eastern rounds. These will culminate in a National Awards to be held in May 2010 in New Delhi, in what is set to be a high-profile event. Watch this space for details.
