Isn’t the denial of the right to be born the worst human rights violation?

November 25 is the day for Elimination of Violence Against the Girl Child. It marks the beginning of a fortnight of activities till December
10, 2008, which is International Human Rights Day.


Why should this interest you?

Female foeticide is assuming genocide proportions. Technology i.e. ultrasound and sonography techniques meant to secure the life of a
foetus are being misused to determine its sex and eliminate it if it is a girl.
