One of the key goals of India’s National Population Policy is to achieve a stable population by 2045.
Population First believes that this is possible only if policies are implemented with a sense of urgency and priority, more inventively in the management of resources and transparently in their deployment. Population First has been involving political parties, government and the media to build a national consensus on this.
Some of the activities under NACPS are advocacy with political parties to include health and population issues in their election manifestoes, gender auditing of budgets and guidelines for Corporate Social Responsibility.
