Media

  • Media would monitor the progress of the NPP (achievements and failures) and report regularly. Media would device ingenious and innovative ways of making this happen on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Media would undertake exploratory/investigative reports to ensure accountability of officials, law enforcement agencies, judiciary and peoples’ representatives responsible for the effective implementation of programmes and policies
  • Media would be proactive in doing whatever required for promoting people’s involvement in the population programmes by regularly featuring articles, stories, news, episodes etc to keep up the awareness levels of their audiences.

Communicators

  • Communicators would come up with (having studied the NPP, failures of past programmes, thrust areas etc) innovative communications to get the various messages across to the different target groups.
  • The communications efforts would be financed through business sponsors and funding agencies.
