The programme strategies of the Thane Pilot Project are based on the Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) framework and create a synergy between demand generation, service delivery and social support mechanisms. The project focuses all together on four different levels:

  1. Behaviour Change Communication
  2. Empowering Communities Through Micro-planning Processes
  3. Motivating the Medical and Health Personnel
  4. NGO Networking
